Hello, we are Klaas and Betty and since 2000 we have lived on this farm with our children.

We continued the dairy farm and the camping of Klaas' parents. In 1984 the camping was started; small-scale, from 1 to 5 units and later 10 units were allowed. In the past the camping had no name, but everyone always talked about camping at "Boer Bakker".

We have made some changes over the years. We have always done this with great deliberation and enthusiasm!

The camping field was doubled in size in 2004 (15 units) and a luxury toilet facility with bad weather accommodation was built.

The campsite even got a name: “De Oosthoek”; this name is derived from the fact that the Koaidyk is located in the far eastern corner of It Heidenskip.

In 2012, the cowshed was completely renovated. In 2014, the campsite was expanded from 15 to 25 units and a harbour was built. The toilet building was renovated and expanded in the spring of 2018. This has transformed the campsite into a modern campsite with a harbour and good facilities. With its unique location and personal, friendly atmosphere, this makes it a special place for the guests and for us!
